Specialist IT recruiter CVScreen’s  UK Wide Salary Survey 2011 (http://www.cvscreen.co.uk/email_html/documents/Salary_Survey_2011.pdf), reports IT salaries  rising by 5% between Q1 2010 and Q1 2011. The survey analysed 50 permanent IT positions and commonly used IT skills covering January 2011 to March 2011, using data from advertisements on leading job boards and in the national press. Example average salaries included: Graduate Developer £24,061; Desktop Support £24632; Web Developer £30,538; Perl Developer £34030; Java Developer £38,553; Oracle Developer £42,209; Senior Web Developer £42,622; Business Analyst £44,239; Project Manager £52,190; Programme Manager £69,007; IT Director £83,809.
